netherlands carillon bell tower at the corner of government and belleville streets

the carillon ding-dongs every hour from 10 am to 8 pm in summer and 10 am to 5 pm in winter. the live performance is at 3 pm every saturday and sunday by rosemary laing, who teaches music at uvic. in order to play the bells, the carillonneur will have to climb the 75-step spiral staircase and short ladder that takes her up 27 metres high. next time you walk by don't forget to enjoy the chimes.

bill miller - the pianist in victoria's inner harbour

mr. miller told me that he had been playing piano at the inner harbour for 15 years. i did not bother to ask him his age. with spirit like this age is irrelevant. far away from the crowd, bill plays the piano with ease. looking out at the sea, his music immerses me like summer breeze...so peaceful...so calm...so nostalgic...it soothes you through every cell...

my sister - a *thwarted* artist...heheheeeee

she's also good at pottery, making short story long, putting unnecessary foundation on her need-fresh-air face, saying unexpected but hilarious jokes, shifting her mood between i-know-i-am-pathetic and i-don't-give-a-fucking-shit, cooking like a chef but tasting like does-she-know-what-salt-and-pepper-is, nagging but pointless, and the most funny part is that she's always thinking that she's prettier than i..&^%$@#*!!! haaa...she may be thwarted but she's definitely narcissism!!! wahaaaaaaa......but i love her...and wish her the best!!!!

beehive knocked off by the snow

one step at a time

today i took city-bus as a tour-bus, and i saw lots lots lots of snow!!!
i did take a bunch of photographs, but i decided to display the most simplest one.
